| 479 | David | Wadsworth | David J. Wadsworth, of Halifax and formerly of Pembroke, died at Tufts Medical Center, after a long illness, on January 10, 2010. The son of the late Robert and Arlene (Gillis) Wadsworth of Braintree, David was born in Weymouth and grew up in Braintree. David was a 1969 graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a retired manager in the Massachusetts Department of Employment and Training. A quiet, solitary man, David was always a passionate animal lover. David is survived by his wife Danna of Pembroke, his beloved children Melisa Wadsworth of South Boston and Andrew Wadsworth of Pembroke, two step-sons, Michael Hession of Carver and Christopher Hession of Kingston, his sister Suzanne (Wadsworth) Waters of raintree, brother Stephen Wadsworth of Braintree, and mother-in-law Genevieve Johnson. | 481 | Philip | Waid | Philip S. Waid, 61, of Edison
died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at his home in Edison, NJ. Born in Hackensack,
NJ, Philip grew up in Braintree, MA before moving to Rahway, NJ
and then to Edison 20 years ago. He served in the Army, having been a Sergeant
in Advanced Weapons Systems during the Vietnam War. He received
a BA in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Northeastern University,
Boston in 1969, a Masters in Thermodynamics from Northeastern University
in 1970 and a Masters of Science in Management from MIT-Sloan, Boston
in 1973. He was a member of Pi Tau Sigma and Tau Beta Pi,
