| 271 | Scott H. | Littlehale | Scott H. Littlehale, 63, of West Bridgewater died peacefully on April 5, 2010 surrounded by family and friends at home after a long battle with lung cancer and congestive heart failure. Devoted husband to Diana C. Littlehale (Magnuson), and loving father to Scott E. of Pembroke, and Sean G., and Kristin J. Littlehale of West Bridgewater. Dear brother to Sandra M. Gabriel (Littlehale) of Westport and brother-in-law to Gary Gabriel. Brother-in-law to Eric and Linda Magnuson, Arthur and Gen Magnuson, and Carl Magnuson. Scott was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two aunts Audrey Beaver of Wrentham and Jane Kramer of Florida. Scott also leaves behind many friends and students, especially from Blue Hills Regional where he taught Metal Fabrication for 19 years; the Quincy Shipyard where he practiced his welding trade for 20 years; and so many other wonderful people he met along the way. Scott was a Navy Seabee Reservist for 2 years, and was responsible for creating the cannon carriages for the U.S.S. Constitution museum. Scott also prided himself on rising from Boy Scout to Eagle Scout and then Order of the Arrow and later Assistant Scoutmaster. He was then very active with the Cub Scouts and the Jaycee's in West Bridgewater for many years. Scott also served on the Blue Hills Regional Advisory Board Committee and taught welding classes at Blue Hills Regional for 30 years, and at Southeastern Regional Tech for 10 years. He was an avid train enthusiast. Funeral Service in the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Burial in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, Taunton. |
