GREENVILLE, ME Donald Brewster Harrington, Jr., of Greenville ME, formerly of Hanover, MA, died suddenly on October 25, 2008. He was born October 16, 1946 in Boston, MA. Son of the late Irene Althea Drollett and Donald Brewster Harrington, Sr. He graduated from Braintree High School in 1964. He then joined the Navy and served in Da Nang, Vietnam and aboard the USS Pritchett as a Communications Specialist. He retired from Armstrong Cork Co. in 1996. He moved to Moosehead Lake, ME in 2003. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, his dogs and photography. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Joy (Holbrook) Harrington and his two sisters Eleanor I. Harrington and her partner Ellen Kelly of Sagamore Beach, MA and Nancy (Harrington) Neill and her husband Arthur of Sandwich, MA and three sister's-in-law Judy (Holbrook) Swanson and her husband Steve, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Gail Holbrook of Mt. Vernon, ME and Jill Holbrook of Port St. Lucie, FL; one brother-in-law Ronald Holbrook and his wife Paula of Marshfield, MA, many nieces and nephews and many special friends. He is also survived by his Newfoundland dog Scout and German Short Hair dog Lily. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Greenville, ME.
